Repository Policy

Repository Policy

The British Journal of Accounting, Finance, and Business Management (BJAFBM) supports the broad dissemination and accessibility of research. To that end, we permit and encourage authors to deposit various versions of their work in institutional, subject-based, and general-purpose repositories.

1. Preprint Policy

Authors are allowed to deposit the preprint (the version of the manuscript before peer review) in any repository or on personal websites. However, it must include a clear notice that the manuscript has not been peer-reviewed and is subject to change.

This is a preprint and has not been peer reviewed. The final version of this paper is published in the British Journal of Accounting, Finance, and Business Management (BJAFBM).

2. Accepted Manuscript (Postprint)

Authors may archive the accepted manuscript (peer-reviewed, but not the final typeset version) in:

  • Institutional repositories
  • Subject repositories (e.g., SSRN, RePEc)
  • Personal or departmental websites

Please include the following statement:

This is the accepted version of the article published in BJAFBM. The final published version is available at: [insert DOI or journal link].

3. Published Version (Version of Record)

Authors may deposit the published version (formatted and typeset by BJAFBM) in:

  • Institutional and subject repositories
  • ResearchGate, Academia.edu, and similar platforms
  • Non-commercial personal or departmental websites

Proper citation and credit to BJAFBM must be maintained, and the article may not be used for commercial purposes unless licensed accordingly.

4. Licensing

All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY 4.0), allowing users to copy, distribute, and adapt the work with appropriate credit to the authors and the journal.
